Let your horse shine with our beautiful browbands
Let your horse's personality be reflected in a browband from Kyro Riding Gear. In our large selection of browbands, you can easily find something that meets your wishes. We have something for all sizes, from the smallest pony to the largest horse. All models are available in black or brown, organic leather. Our browbands have openable loops that make it quick to change and it also fits all bridles and double bridles on the market. Most of our browbands have the deep u shape for a more elegant look, we have small and large crystals to choose from. If your horse has a small head, perhaps browband with 8 mm fits best, while a large powerful horse is better dressed in something with larger crystals. When it comes to the fit, it is important that the browband does not sit tight against the horse's forehead, otherwise they can pull the neck piece forward towards the ears. Visually, the browband is the highlight of the entire bridle, changing the browband gives the feeling of a completely new bridle. All our browbands are glued and sewn by hand and each browband is a unique piece of craftsmanship. They are made of high-quality organically tanned leather. When you buy a browband from us, you never have to worry about losing a crystal, we always have loose extra crystals in stock.
How to care for your browband
To make sure that the crystals are in place ride after ride, go over your browband after each ride, check that the metal holders have not opened up. If someone were to get stuck, e.g. in the forehead it is easily that a small metal spike starts to lose contact with the crystal. Gently press the metal spike back against the crystal. Don´t let your horse scratch with the browband on and avoid using the browband during transport. Do not leave the headband hanging out in sunlight.
Don´t bend the browbandband more than it should be bent around the horse's forehead.
After a period of use, the crystals on your browband may no longer be as sparkling. Dirt and horse sweat may have accumulated on the browband. You can remove dirt from the crystals with a soft cloth. Be careful not to get stuck in the metal loops so they open, because then the crystal can fall out. For extra thorough cleaning, you can use a little water and a cloth or soft toothbrush. If you go over the crystals often, the cleaning does not require that much work. You care for the leather on the browband like the rest of your bridle, but avoid getting soap, oil or other fats on the crystals.
Should you lose a crystal, we always have extras in stock. Email us at info@kyroridinggear.com and we will solve crystals in replacement.
